Hearthside Labradors was established in 1990 but began in the Obedience side of training and eventually our children began showing in 4H and AKC as well as John working with 4H dog exhibitors in our County.  We early on knew we wanted to breed and train.  In fact, it was a conversation prior to marriage in the mid 80's.   Jumping to 2014, and 6 Labradors later, I requested our mentor, Carol Connor to honor us with a nice bitch out of her Blizzard and Holliberi co-owned with Dale Brummett.  This breeding would go back to our breeding of Millie, our daughter's TOP DOG at the Indiana State Fair 4H Event in 2003.   Out of Millie, Bred to CH Hunt Club Show N Tell Risky Business aka Kruise we had Hearthside's Dives Right In, Macy.  She was perfect and I wanted to get the brains and trainability from that union. In 2014, I got the call to pick a nice bitch from Carol and Dale.  So into our empty nester lives enter Sylvan Meadows Meadow at Hearthside and our dive into conformation and learning all we can about preserving the wonderful Labrador.
